7 AM Beryl Update: Still a tropical storm, expected to strengthen into at least a category 1 hurricane before making landfall along the TX Gulf Coast Monday morning. Hurricane Watches and Storm Surge Watches are in place along the coast. Over a foot of rain is possible just east off Corpus Christi after landfall. With the track still taking a NE turn, the highest rainfall totals for us, will still be for eastern and southeastern parts of NTX. We'll be monitoring. | FOX 4 Weather
